Job Description         

As a Back Shop Attendant, you will act as a key member of the Golf Operations team. Reporting to the Director of Golf, you will be responsible for ensuring quick and efficient service while providing exceptional customer service. You will work closely with the Pro Shop Manager, Tournament Coordinator and Pro Shop Attendant team handling day-to-day operations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain power cart fleet
  • Daily cart set-up
  • Wash, clean, and general maintenance of power cart fleet
  • Set-up of power carts for tournaments
  • On-duty senior Back Shop employee responsible organizing and directing golf services staff regarding tournament operations
  • Stocking of products such as water and other giveaways both on power carts and around the clubhouse area
  • Assist with tournament conveners as needed
  • Ensuring that all rental clubs are cleaned and accounted for after use

Job Description              

As a Starter (Volunteer), you will provide a high level of customer service as you support different areas of the outside golf services.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for greeting customers and providing direction as well as assisting them with their golf bags
  • Support the daily cart set up
  • Responsible for loading golf bags on power carts for customers when required
  • Responsible for checking groups and individuals in at the cart staging area prior to tee off
  • Introduce themselves to every group
  • Must collect the proper receipts from each group
  • Responsible for recording cart numbers on the tracking sheets
  • Record accurate starting times for every group on the tee sheet
  • Deliver the “RedCrest Starters Message” as outlined in the policies and procedures including our alcohol policy
  • Must make every effort to make sure the tee is running on time and communicate with Pro Shop of any delays
    • Responsible for making sure it is safe for players to tee off and instructing them when to do so
  • Responsible for updating tee sheets
  • Responsible for monitoring and recording turn times as the day progresses
  • Advise groups who stop between nines if they have exceeded the allotted time limit
  • Notify the Pro Shop of any pace of play issues

Job Description              

As the Play Coordinator (Volunteer), you will provide high levels of friendly, continuous customer service while working closely with the Golf Services team including the Pro Shop and Back Shop employees.

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain pace of play on assigned golf course

Job Description              

Maintain and service all equipment ensuring reels and rotaries are kept sharp daily. Record all service and repairs to equipment and maintain a parts inventory. Keep equipment clean and ensure all safety devices are employed at all times. Reports to Superintendent.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist Superintendents to train staff on safe equipment operation
  • Ensure equipment is maintained to the Cardinal Golf Complex’s standards
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and maintenance standards and directives
  • Communicate with Superintendents to ensure all equipment is operations and available when required
  • Record all service and repairs to each piece of machinery so that cost of operation can be monitored
  • Communicate with Property Manager for equipment that needs to be replaced or retired due to safety concerns or cost of operation

  • Participate in winter maintenance of clubhouse, parking lots, and buildings as required

Job Description

As a part of the Turf Team, you will perform day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of our golf courses. While you may be assigned to a specific club, you may be asked to work anywhere on property. You will also assist in completing daily tasks that will be outlined by the course Superintendent which includes general landscaping.

 

Responsibilities

  • Daily maintenance including cutting rough, fairways, tees, and greens
  • Bunker maintenance
  • Daily course preparation for play
  • Assist in cultural practices such as fertilizing, topdressing, verticutting, rolling, and aerating
  • Participate in irrigation repairs, head leveling, and hand watering
  • General property maintenance including tree and shrub pruning, leaf clean-up, and hand weeding of bunkers and flow beds
  • Housekeeping duties to ensure all areas on the golf course are maintained in a neat, organized, and clean manner at all times
  • Maintenance of tools and equipment to ensure they are kept in a safe and orderly manner

Job Description

Oversee the day-to-day running of the golf club’s restaurants and bars and ensure the smooth operation of services provided at all times, creating an exceptional food and beverage experience for our patrons and guests in line with our high standards of service.

Provide effective hands-on management and leadership to the restaurant team, ensuring the dining area and associated facilities are set-up and maintained to the highest standards at all times and the front of house team are fully briefed and engaged throughout service.

The successful applicant would have both restaurant managerial experience as well as banquet experience. This position does involve weekend, evening and holiday shifts due to the nature of the industry, and therefore having a flexible schedule is a requirement

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day management and running of the Clubhouse Restaurant and Bar
  • Proactively manage and oversee all daily operations of the restaurant
  • Implement & develop effective front-of-house service procedures
  • Identify, agree and implement regular product promotions with Exceutive Chef and F&B Director such as new cocktails or daily specials

Job Description

All servers are required to be cross-trained between all FOH positions such as Restaurant Server, Bartender, Beverage Cart Operator, and Event Server.

Event servers will set up rooms and tables, perform cocktail reception duties, perform meal and beverage service to customers before or after their round and clearing and clean up duties as assigned.

Beverage cart operators will stock beverage cart and fridge, on course service to guests, respect the pace of play of the golfers and know basic golf rules and etiquette.
