Club Description
The Cardinal Golf Complex is Canada’s largest golf and event facility and is home to three clubs including Cardinal Golf Club, Kettle Creek Golf Club, and RedCrest Golf Club. While these clubs share the same property, they each have their own entrance and clubhouse.
Job Description
As a Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring all events are set up on time for execution.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors
- Clean and sanitize common areas
- Move and organize furniture or equipment
- Fix minor issues, like changing light bulbs
- Pick up dry cleaning or run other errands
- Help kitchen managers manage inventory by organizing food storage
- Receive and unpack deliveries, ensuring all food and supplies are correctly placed
- Store reusable goods, lock doors, and break down goods
- Coordinate with Sales Coordinator for all event needs including the floor plan
- Assist with the F&B team in other setup duties as required
Qualifications
- Be responsible, reliable, and trustworthy
- Be conscientious, especially in your attitude to security and safety
- Be practical, with the ability to use your hands well to operate tools and equipment
- Be fit and active, as lifting and carrying is involved
- Provide excellent customer service by helping guests or residents with their needs
