Club Description
The Cardinal Golf Complex is Canada’s largest golf and event facility and is home to three clubs including Cardinal Golf Club, Kettle Creek Golf Club, and RedCrest Golf Club. While these clubs share the same property, they each have their own entrance and clubhouse.
Job Description
As the Server & Beverage Cart Operator, you will be provided the unique experience of working between Cardinal Golf Club, Kettle Creek Golf Club, and RedCrest Golf Club’s locations. You will assist the Food and Beverage team in setting tables, as well as taking & serving orders to customers while providing outstanding customer services. You will also stock the beverage carts, fridges, and provide on-course food & beverage service to golfers.
Responsibilities
- Treat all guests in a courteous and respectful manner at all times
- Assist guests by providing menu’s, taking orders, making suggestions, and answering questions
- Maintain sanitation at all times
- Greet all guests upon their arrival
- Ensure payment is collected from all guests
- Ensure supplies are available for all guests
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times
- Responsible for clean-up duties at end of shift
- Stock beverage carts as per company guidelines
- Keep a clean cart and organized workspace at all times
- Assess customer condition and limit alcohol consumption
- Perform extra duties as required by supervisor(s)
- Assist in the execution of non-golf events as required
Qualifications
- High school education
- Must be available for all shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Smart Serve Certified
- Positive and engaging attitude
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of bar service and wine service is considered an asset
- Must be able to work long hours while on your feet
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced and efficient manner
- Must have the ability to remain calm in high-stress situations
- Ability to operate a beverage cart safely (training provided)
